FOUNDER/CEO
Dr. Dene′ J. Starks is a prolific educator, mentor, leader, author, and speaker. In 2003 Dene′ graduated from Sacramento State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication and began her career as an insurance professional in 2004. Since that time, Dene′ has been afforded many opportunities to develop not only herself, but to develop others as well in the form of training and education. In 2010, Dene′ founded her first company, DJS Marketing & Business Solutions, a premier business consulting firm. In October 2012, Dene′ graduated with her Masters of Arts degree in Business Administration. In January 2013, Dene′ was hired as an Associate Professor at Word of Life Theological Seminary and not long after, Dene′ was promoted to Dean of Education at the Word of Life Theological Seminary. In 2018, Dene’ obtained a Doctor of Theology degree from Kingdom University International and in 2019 became a Certified Life/Recovery Coach. In 2020, Dene' successfully received her Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist designation
from the International Trauma Institute.
Over the years, Dene′ has grown to become an accomplished insurance professional with well over 13 years’ experience in the industry. In 2016, Dene′ accepted a promotion to lead the Western Region – Commercial and Worker’s Compensation Underwriting Departments at a nationally recognized A+ rated insurer. In 2018, Dene’ went on to obtain her insurance licenses and became the successful owner of an insurance agency currently servicing: AZ, CA, NV, TX, MI, and LA. In 2016, Dene′ became a published author, with her debut writing in the book “Stand Up, Be Heard,” and in 2019, Dene’ was a featured author in “The Christian Woman CEO.” Dene′ also published a solo book project entitled, “What’s Next” a guide for next level marketing and recently published an interactive journal entitled
“MISGUIDED”: A Journey to Self-Love & Self Discovery.
Because of her passion for education, Dene’ founded a Non-Profit called Diversif-I Education Group, Inc. which promotes diversity through education by offering an accredited Business program, certificate programs, mentoring programs, and a host of other educational services.
Through her journey, Dene’ has discovered her passion to inspire, equip, and motivate people from all walks of life to follow their dreams.
